LocateMe is an iPhone app that locates and communicates with other LocateMe users via their iPhones, allowing people to get help if they are in trouble. Once you download LocateMe to your iPhone, all you have to do is push a button. The app will then use your GPS information and send it along with your contact information to the police so that they can quickly track down where you are.

My SafetyPin

My SafetiPin was designed to observe and calculate the area's safety score and alert you through notifications. The app ranks places by auditing them under 9 parameters: lighting, visibility, openness, number of people around you, presence of security guards, public transportation available, feeling (how safe you feel there), gender usage (percentage of genders near you), and walk path (roads or spaces to walk for you). It is also a free app.

The app collects your location data and analyses it to estimate the area's safety score. In addition, you can use the app to search for alternative routes to avoid unsafe areas.

With a single click, the app lets you call emergency contacts. In addition, it’s one of the best apps for women’s safety, offering features like lighting availability, the openness of the location, security, etc. to provide a safety score.



BSafe

The BSafe app turns your iPhone into a safety device by providing you with an SOS alert button and the GPS location of your friends or loved ones. The company’s business model works on monthly subscriptions, but users can download their first month for free. The app was launched in 2012 and has been growing steadily ever since, due to women using the app to keep, as the name says: safe.

This app was developed by Rick Larsen, whose daughter Charlen, was the victim of sexual assault. This motivated him and his team to help protect other women from experiencing similar traumatic events.

Its most important features include:

Voice Activation: You can have your phone in your jacket, purse, or maybe even in the hands of a dangerous person.  You do not need to press the SOS button to activate it.

Live Streaming: When the SOS is activated, your guardians will get your location and can track you. Guardians will be able to see and hear everything that is happening in real time via live streaming and can track your location at the same time.

Automatic Recording: When the SOS alarm is activated, your phone will automatically start recording both audio and video. The recorded files will be sent to your guardian’s cell phone.

Fake Call: Get your phone to call you and get out of unpleasant or threatening situations.

Guardians: Set up your own social and personal security network of friends and family (guardians). Invite as many as you want.

Follow Me: Ask your guardians to follow you home with Follow Me live GPS tracking. They will be able to see you live via the map on their mobile. Once you have made it home safely, your guardians will receive a message about it.
